Starland Farm is a family owned and operated breeding and training facility created expressly for natural, sound, flat shod Tennessee Walking Horses. The farm was established by John Sr. and Tita Feltner in Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1983. In 1993, we relocated to 30 acres in Stephenville, Texas, about one hour's drive Southwest of Forth Worth.
Starland Farm is the home of:
STARLAND COPPER GENERATOR - Light Shod World Grand Champion. COIN BAD NEWS - sire of 7 World Champions and 2 Reserve World Champions. COIN'S FUTURE ATTRACTION - 2006 Light Shod Reserve World Champion.
Our successes with Tennesee Walkers over the years can be attributed to a very simple philosophy: Selective Breeding. Through selective breeding, we try to ensure that the mare candidate and respective stallion are a compliment. We carefully evaluate disposition, conformation, gait, pedigree and past performance. For eight years straight, our stallions have earned the Premier Breeding Sire Award given by the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association and the Southwest Walking Horse Association. We have a living, ever-growing passion for the Tennessee Walking Horse, and our vision is to continuously improve the breed.
Please email or give us a call. We would love to talk with you and show you what the best Tennessee Walking Horses are capable of. Ride one today, you will own one tomorrow!
