years by master saddlemakers of Crosby. This IS a SUPERIOR
saddle which is equal if not better than a Whitman, Barnsby,
Freedman or Joseph Sterling

Seat
Style and Size:
21 inches (measured from center of the front rivet to back
of cantle). It has a deep/equitation seat.

Identification:
Left
and rights sides have a manufactures plate.
The plate says, "Exselle" ... "made in England by
WRSCo.
On the left side of the saddle under-billet flap, there the
manufactures embossed identification and serial number
stamped into the leather. It reads "X03 2 732"
... "21". The two pommel rivets that have the "Exselle"
insignia.

Color
and Material:
The saddle is black in color. This saddle is
handcrafted from
beautifully smooth bridle leather. The seat is made from
a nappy suede leather which offers significant grip and security.

Tree
size:
Standard
(10" between tree bar rivets)
which makes it suitable for most horse breeds.

Stirrup
bars:
Stirrup bars are fixed.

Billets:
There
are 4 billets on each side and are made from chrome tanned leather
which is the best-of-the-best.

Accessories:
Saddle
DOES come with stirrups. Irons are 4 1/2" wide.

tree is solid and sound as I check it thoroughly. I
check it by twisting and bending between pommel and cantle.
